Modi praised me earlier but now wants my defeat: Sharad Pawar | India News – Times of India

PUNE/NASHIK: Sharad Pawar on Sunday said PM Narendra Modi is inconsistent with his views and his stand.
“When he spoke in Delhi, he said I have done historic work as Union agriculture minister. In Baramati, the PM said he came into national politics by holding my finger. But now, he says that anything and everything should be done to defeat me in Baramati,” Pawar said at a public rally on Sunday.
He added that voting against Mahayuti and NDA alliance was necessary to keep democracy intact.
According to Pawar, Modi has also not been able to keep a consistent stand on corruption and the nation’s development as he has spoken against leaders and their alleged scams, and then inducted these very people into BJP.
